WHAT DAY WILL VACATION CHECKS BE MAILED OUT?

They will be mailed on or about December 7, 2007.

 

CAN I GET MY VACATION MONEY EARLY IF I AM NOT WORKING ANYMORE?

No, everyone has to wait until the initial payout.  The only exceptions are death and retirement.

 

WHAT WORK MONTHS ARE INCLUDED IN MY 2007 VACATION CHECK?

November 2006 – October 2007 provided your employer pays your vacation contributions on or prior to November 20, 2007.

 

CAN I PICK-UP MY CHECK FROM THE FUND OFFICE?

No, they will not be available at the fund office.

 

CAN I GIVE YOU MY ADDRESS CHANGE OVER THE PHONE?

Yes, with verification of your identity.  For your protection, we cannot accept address changes from other individuals, including spouses and children.

 

CAN SPOUSES OR FRIENDS FIND OUT VACATION AMOUNTS?

No, the member must call the Fund Office

 

IF MY EMPLOYER PAYS MY VACATION CONTRIBUTIONS AFTER NOVEMBER 20^TH, WHEN WILL I GET MY VACATION MONEY?

Late contributions will be paid monthly starting in early January 2008.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET MY VACATION CHECK?

Make sure the fund office or the Local 518 office has your current mailing address.

 

HOW CAN I FIND OUT HOW MUCH MY CHECK WILL BE?

You can logon to the Cement Masons & Plasterers website and see your most current 2007 vacation balance.  The website address is: www.kcmasonsbenefits.org.  First time users must use this temporary password: E8B75MH.

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I DO NOT RECEIVE MY VACATION CHECK?

Contact the Local 518 office or the fund office.
